Jake Mohlmann

Jake Mohlmann graduated from Penn State with a degree in Recreation and Parks Management.  While there, he helped found the Penn State Student Bird Club.  He has long specialized in natural history interpretation, and is now combining these talents with his voluminous knowledge of ornithology.  Jake has regularly traveled around the North American continent for bird-related field work.  He spent half of 2007 on St. Paul Island in Alaska's Pribilofs, where he discovered and documented North America's first Brown Hawk-Owl.  He is always excited to return to sunny southeastern Arizona to live and go birding (or are those two things the same?)

Most recent adventure: Hiking through Chiapas in search of the spectacular Horned Guan.

Upcoming tours with Jake:

Single day to one week custom trips in southeast Arizona

Foreign and domestic set-departure tours through WINGS Birding Tours Worldwide
